FINLEY STROMSKI, DOG
“Finley is a gentle giant. He instantly put me at ease and allowed me to scratch his ears. He asked to scratch mine, but I declined. Reassuring to know that if I did in fact need an ear scratch, he was looking out for me. I would rate him a 15 out of 5 stars. ”
Finley is an office dog at AW’s Cleveland location. He comes to the firm from Dallas, TX after being rescued by Helping Hounds Dog Rescue in Syracuse, NY. He is six years old and likely a Newfoundland and Golden Retriever mix, but your guess on his breed is as good as ours! Finley loves to nap and roll in the grass, but please try not to celebrate his birthday with balloons, as they can be very frightening for him.
Finley is registered through the American Kennel Club as a Canine Good Citizen and through Therapy Dogs International as a therapy dog, with Renee as his handler. Finley loves listening to children practice their reading at the Lakewood Public Library through their “Tail Waggin’ Tutors” program, and also loves providing local college students with stress relief from academic demands. Most notably, Finley also attended three semesters of law school while Renee was completing her degree through virtual learning during the pandemic. He is hoping to put some of that knowledge to work through his “pro bone-o” support at AW.
