AMY SOLARO, ESQ.

Amy focuses her practice on juvenile delinquency. Outside of AW, Amy serves as a Guardian Ad Litem advocating on behalf of children in abuse, neglect, and dependency cases for CASA of Franklin County.

Amy was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. She graduated summa cum laude from Loyola-Marymount University in Los Angeles, California with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She received her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.  In law school, Amy obtained valuable experience representing youth in USF’s Child Advocacy Clinic and was awarded the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Juvenile Law.

Upon passing the California Bar Exam, Amy was an associate attorney in a civil defense firm in San Francisco gaining in depth experience in legal research, client relations, and drafting discovery, pleadings, and motions. Following a move to Columbus, Amy decided to direct her focus onto youth representation – both in abuse, neglect, and dependency cases as well as juvenile delinquency cases.  Amy strongly believes that every child and family deserves kindness, compassion, and respect, especially in the legal system. Amy also handles athletic eligibility appeals for high school athletes.

Amy lives in Bexley with her husband, two sons, and their dog, Pete. In her free time, Amy loves spending time with her family, running, biking, reading, and attempting to conquer the NYT Saturday crossword puzzle.
